What we liked
- + Hawthorne, julep and fine mesh in one box cover every straining style
- + Fine mesh sieve catches pulp and ice shards for silky shaken drinks
- + Good value starter set for anyone building a home bar from scratch
Trade-offs
- - Julep strainer is one part of a set, so it may be less refined than solo picks
- - Three tools need drawer space and separate cleaning after each session
